Why we like you to participatedd?
The scientific community is increasingly encouraged to connect with civil society and the policy domain, to optimise the benefit of research investment, ensuring practical application of obtained knowledge. Because the field of Natural Spaces Infrastructure is no exception, we like to better understand the actual background and needs of professionals in these sciences.
To this aim, the PHENOTYPE Consortium invites you to provide input through the online questionnaire addressing scientific knowledge transfer and collaborations between research and other professions.
From 20-21 October 2014, the Centre for Research in Environmental Epidemiology (CREAL) will host to the Young Researchers Conference on Environmental Epidemiology organized by ISEE-Europe. “Green Cities, Healthy People – Planning Healthy Urban Settings”, a two-day B-Debate held in Barcelona (30-31 October 2013), intended to explicitly link research and practice in Public Health and Urban Planning. Among the contributors were international experts from different disciplines as well as practitioners who contributed examples of good practice to the debate. B-The meeting was largely funded by Debate, International Center for Scientific Debate Barcelona, a Biocat initiative with support from “la Caixa” Foundation, and organized in collaboration with PHENOTYPE. The focus was on the European region and more specifically regarding cities in southern and eastern Europe.
Two new PHENOTYPE related scientific papers have been published this month by our team Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania.
